■LOS CENIZOS Honey Gazebo

LOS CENIZOS garnered worldwide attention, winning top awards in all three categories at BOP2025. It placed 2nd in the Natural category with an astonishing score of 96.25. The plot, “Gazebo,” is named after the gazebo built by the farm owner, Ms. Estella. Coffee cherries were depulped with mucilage intact, fermented for 24 hours, and then dried on raised beds for 27 days.

■HiU Natural Los Rajones BOP-GN6

The Los Lajones Farm, owned by HiU, produces environmentally conscious coffee using as little water as possible. Mr. Graciano, the farm owner, visits various countries to improve coffee quality worldwide, providing guidance on harvesting and processing methods. This lot won 6th place in the Natural categories at BOP2025. Coffee cherries were fermented in bags for 12 hours, then dried on raised beds.

■ESMERALDA Washed Mario Arriba 3FC

ESMERALDA introduced Geisha to the world at BOP2004. The winning lot was sold for the highest price ever recorded at the time. At BOP2025, they won the triple crown for the first time ever, including the Varietal category and continue to rewrite the legend. The coffee cherries were depulped, fermented for 96 hours in a tank maintained at 16℃, and then dried for 27 days in a room with temperature, humidity, and air flow controlled.

■FINCA SOPHIA Washed Torcaza Lot136

FINCA SOPHIA began coffee production in 2008. They have won the BOP twice and continue to receive high ranks. In BOP2025, they received 2nd in the Washed and 3rd in the Natural categories. This lot was harvested from the “Torcaza” plot (named after birds in the farm), which was depulped, fermented for 36 hours, then pre-dried on raised beds then meticulously finished to its target moisture level in a room with temperature and humidity controlled.

■JANSON Natural Los Alpes Lot845

JANSON is a brand beloved by coffee professionals worldwide. The Los Alpes Farm is situated on the slopes of two volcanoes, where the vast temperature difference between day and night nurtures high-quality coffee cherries. The farm’s managers, Michael and Jannette, maintain rigorous quality control. This lot was refined by a semi-anaerobic fermentation process for 48 hours, during which the tank lids are periodically opened, then dried in a dryer for 7 days.

ESMERALDA introduced Geisha to the world at BOP2004. The winning lot was sold for the highest price ever recorded at the time. They broke the highest score records in both the Washed and Natural categories and continue to rewrite the legend. The coffee cherries were anaerobically fermented for 120 hours, then dried on raised beds for 20 days.

JANSON is loved by coffee professionals worldwide. Extensive research into processing methods tailored to the soil characteristics and the cherries conditions, and under the rigorous quality control maintained by farm managers Michael and Jannette, they are a regular award-winner at the BOP. This lot was refined by a semi-anaerobic fermentation for 48 hours, during which the tank lids are periodically opened, then dried on raised beds for 6 days.

■Black Moon Natural Lot24

Black Moon converted a vegetable farm into a coffee farm. Benefiting from blessed terroir, it has adopted carbon-cycle farming to regenerate the soil while positively impacting the environment. They continue to improve the quality annually, earning the BOP award every year since 2022. This lot was harvested on the day of the full moon and slowly dried over approximately two months in a room that can control humidity and temperature.

■Nuguo Natural Lot748

The Gallardo family has been in the coffee business since the 1960s, and Mr. José, who oversees the farm, saw the potential of Geisha and started growing it anew in 2006. Finca Nuguo won 1st place in the Natural category of the BOP2021. Coffee cherries were fermented in tank for 72 hours, then additional 24 hours in a cool environment. Slowly dried for 90 days in the room where the temperature and humidity could be controlled.

■LONGBOARD Washed Misty Mountain

LONGBOARD, which owns three farms in Boquete, has repeatedly placed highly in BOP competitions and is used in competitions worldwide. This lot represents the final work of the farm owner Mr. Justin, who poured his passion into every step from farm management to processing. Coffee cherries were depulped, then cold fermented using natural yeast. It is dried for 24 hours on raised beds and 25 days in a room where temperature and humidity are controlled.
