Cañas Verdes has a unique microclimate and nutrient-rich volcanic soil between two oceans on the slopes of the Baru Volcano. The coffee cherry was slowly dried for 21 days. This cup has an elegant, sweet aroma like Honeysuckle, acidity reminiscent of Mandarin Orange, and a smooth texture and sweetness like Peach with a long pleasant aftertaste.

Cañas Verdes has a microclimate and nutrient-rich volcanic soil between two oceans on the slopes of the Baru Volcano. This lot was slow-dried for 34 days on raised beds to bring out the coffee’s natural fruitiness and sweetness. As a result, it has an elegant taste like Wasambon and a fruity acidity reminiscent of Peach and Orange.

■JANSON Special Cafetalera Lot809

This lot is fermented anaerobically for 96 hours, which gives alcohol like rich flavor, and slowly dried for 15 days on the patio to maximize the potential of coffee cherries. As a result, it has a mellow taste reminiscent of White Rum and a good balance of sweetness and acidity like Plum.

This lot won 2nd place in the COE. The coffee cherries were depulped and fermented anaerobically, then dried on raised beds under cover for over a week. As a result, this cup has a juicy taste reminiscent of Raspberry, a smooth texture like Yellow Peach, and a citric sweetness like Lemon Candy.

BAMBITO has won top prizes at BOP many times. After the pulp is removed by washing, it is fermented for seven days with yeast which is also used for wine, followed by drying on raised beds for 15 days. This cup has an elegant aroma like Jasmine and a refreshing acidity reminiscent of Grapefruit.
